Casa Lentisco

Casa Lentisco descends a south-facing slope above Deià in a series of terracotta concrete rooms and open courts. Rather than imitate a traditional finca, the house borrows its logic: thick walls, shaded thresholds and a daily sequence tuned to sun, breeze and the scent of wild lentisc.

Cobalt perforated screens slide across the western elevations, filtering hard afternoon light into deep blue shadow. The main court joins the kitchen, dining room and library around an old olive tree, while the sea terrace stretches toward a slim saltwater pool cut into the contours of the land.

Six suites are distributed between the main house and a two-bedroom guest pavilion. A ceramics studio, intimate screening room and stone-lined spa support year-round living, while productive gardens and a small orchard settle the architecture into its hillside rather than treating the landscape as scenery.
